If you enjoyed Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo, you’ll want to dig your claws into this game as well. Even if you play the campaign mode, however, the game does not tell you all the basics you need to know. This is why you need to check out these Jurassic Park Evolution Beginner’s Tips.

For reference, the tips are:

  • Manual drive your ranger vehicles and Honk your horn
  • Sell your valuables on an Island that is scraped for cash
  • Do your research on your wealthy islands
  • Do Not Just Focus On On Division at A Time
  • You can reject contracts
  • You can request contracts
  • You can take photos
  • Upgrade your buildings

Tip 1: Manual drive your ranger vehicles and Honk your horn

You will need to send Rangers throughout your park for resupplying food, repairs, and medicating your dinos. However, they tend to get attack by your dinosaurs. By manual driving and honking your horn (L3 or H), the dinosaurs start to panic and run away.

Another reason why you may want to manually drive the ranger vehicles is that they tend to be very slow. Because, of that, diseases in the parks spread easily. You can drive a lot faster than the Rangers can and you usually can have all the tasks done before they even start one. Plus, there is even a couple of trophies/achievements that are driving-related.

Jurassic Park Evolution Beginner’s Tip 2: Sell your valuables on an Island that is scraped for cash

There are five islands in the campaign mode. Each island has its own hardships and starting out can be quite a task. However, fossils can carry over from island to island.

Send out an expedition or two on your wealthy islands. If you find any valuables, switch over to the island that is needing cash and sell your valuables.

Tip 3: Do your research on your wealthy islands

Each island you unlock, you can build a research center. Each new center unlocks more items to research, but it cost money. After building a research center, switch over to a wealthy island.

Start researching the illnesses first so you have cures ready when you go back to the other island.

Jurassic Park Evolution Beginner’s Tip 4: Do Not Just Focus On On Division at A Time

I disagree with PCGamesN with their Jurassic article about focusing on one boss.

Yes, not focusing on one division at a time might take a little longer to achieve max reputation ɴwith a division and reap all the awards. However, if you only focus on one, you risk the chance of the other divisions becoming jealous and sabotaging your park.

Besides, it didn’t take me long to unlock all the rewards and earn all the achievements related to max reputations. Plus why would you reject easy money?

Tip 5: You can reject contracts

If you get a contract that will either take too long or you are unable to complete the task at that given time, reject it. It does not hurt your reputation with the divisions. The divisions will keep handing you contracts so there is no point in filling up your space with useless contracts.

Jurassic Park Evolution Beginner’s Tip 6: You can request contracts

If you are low on contracts, or you are trying to raise your reputation with a certain division, you can request contracts from your main menu screen.

Tip 7: You can take photos

Photos are a good way to make money. Having a lot of dino variety, having dinos doing various tasks like sleeping, and having one dino in the main composition gives you a good money bonus. However, the game never tells you how to take photos.

In order to take photos, you need to manually drive the ranger jeeps to the dinosaurs that you are planning on taking a picture of. There should be an option on the bottom of the screen to take photos. (If it is not there, you may need to complete a certain mission first, in order to unlock it. )

Jurassic Park Evolution Beginner’s Tip 8: Upgrade your buildings

Upgrading your buildings is important! It can help prevent outages, give you more power, faster and more incubation, and much much more.
